Jacky Willits is a senior studying International Relations and Public Health. Next fall she will be continuing on to Tulane’s Graduate School of Public Health through the combined degree program to get her master’s in health policy. She hails from just outside of Philadelphia, but has come to think fondly of New Orleans as her adopted home. She loves to travel, dance, eat spicy food, and speak Spanish. Beyond reproductive justice, her research interests include social and cultural determinants of adolescent pregnancy and and Latin American politics. Jacky is so excited to be a reproductive justice intern for the New Orleans Abortion Fund and helping to launch the Outloud storytelling program. She is eager to be inspired by the smart, driven, take-no-s*** women she will be working with, and to become a greater part of the feminist spirit of New Orleans.
